Club Race

A belated report on round 4 of the Oxon Cross Country League from February 6^th (sorry!)

I picked Tara up at a very reasonable time (09.45) as the race didn’t start until 11.00!

It was a bright, breezy, cool winter's morning as I walked up the hill to Wytham Woods, race kit in hand (basically a plastic bag containing the numbers, watches and clipboards).

Firstly, a thanks to Andy Goodwin for getting me a cancellation place 2 days before the race.

Stratfield Brake Motivation Run

On February 15^th, 2020 PC (pre-Covid) me signed up for the Witney Roadrunners 10 mile Cotswold Classic race.

The Keeleys were on holiday so Hugh elected to time keep to avoid running the hills! 

On a warm, slightly damp Thursday evening towards the end of June, around 40 Eynsham Roadrunners climbed the hills to the chalet in the centre of the wonderful surrounds of Wytham Woods, to take part in the club's own Motavation 4 mile race (as the real thing, due to Covid, had to be called off).
