2025/26 Cross Country Handicap Competition Standings
That’s right, it’s back for another year. Remember that your best 4 results will count overall, so if you’ve missed a round (which many people have), then all is not lost, and you may still win the coveted shield.
Other than that, the usual explanation applies, in that this is a handicap competition, so you are rated against last year’s performances, and the most improved should win. If you didn’t take part last year, a handicap figure is assigned, and this is hopefully chosen so as to keep people interested, but no one should win thanks to an arbitrarily decided handicap.
