A decent ERR turnout on a warmish day on a hillyish (is that a word?) and scenic course.
Particular congratulations to Hannah for setting a PB and new club record in finishing 3rd lady overall, to Kate for another Kate Award, as well as Arthur and Tara for their PBs.
I think I've remembered all the jokers that were played, but if not, let me know.

Thanks to all those who helped out or ran in last night's annual ERR handicap race. 56 adult participants beats last year's record number.
Well done to Tess for winning the biggest trophy in the ERR (if not the world) cabinet, and also to Jess and Lisa for such impressive improvements on their handicap times. All the category winners are shown in italics.

The junior results are below. Our electronic timing system (known as Jane) couldn't separate Joe and Alexander, so they both win a prize.

Some spectacular results at Cottisford. Well done to all the ERR category prize winners and PB-setters. Talking of which, have added the PBs I know of, but I'm sure I've missed some, so please let me know if this includes yours.

A marvellous 52 Eynsham Roadrunners braved the monsoon at Charlton, out of 408 finishers overall.
Well done to Hannah for finishing 4th in the ladies' race, in what is the fastest time at Charlton by an ERR lady (our records go back as far as 2001), and also to Mark for finishing 9th in the men's race, with the 2nd fastest time by an ERR man at Charlton.
The positions given are those from the separate men's and women's races.

Almost too many great performances to mention at the White Horse Half. Special mention has to go to Hannan for beating an 11-year-old club record by over 2 minutes, but well done to everyone who made their debut over the distance or set a PB, some of which were by large margins.
As if that wasn't enough, the ERR ladies were 3rd in the overall team competition, and 3rd in the County Championship team competition.
No points are shown for the Short League competitors, as these can change over the course of the year, but they have been added to the current league standings.

Some excellent ERR performances at an unseasonably warm (but just as hilly) Banbury.
Well done to all the category prize winners, even if Katherine didn't actually win a prize for hers.

Excellent performances in the final round by both the ERR men and women meant that the women finished top of Division 3 overall, while the mean were 2nd in Division 2, and should hopefully mean that both are promoted next season (best not celebrate until it's official).
Particularly noteworthy were another top 10 finish for Hannah and a very strong debut from Mark Baker.
110 women finished, and 199 men.

Pride of place has to go to Hannah for her 4th place in the ladies' race, which is the highest individual placing any of us can remember for an Eynsham runner.
Elsewhere, both the ERR men and women maintained their promotion push, with the women finishing 2nd on the day in Division 3, to still be top overall, and the men finishing top of Division 2 on the day, thus narrowing the gap to Witney for the top spot for the series.
121 finished the ladies' race, and 225 finished the men's.
Update (3/2): Elaine played her joker.
