Cotswold Classic Report by Nadine Hunter
The Cotswold Classic was well attended by ERR members this year and the event did not disappoint with the infamous “Hillzakilla” at midpoint proving to be just as brutal as I remembered!
1km of elevation with a promise of some relief half way up but it was a mind game – the agony continued!
Whilst the sunshine was plentiful, so was the chatter to the utter dismay of Stephane who was most put out by a couple conversing for the full 10 miles just behind him whilst he could barely breathe!
As always, a really well organised event by Witney Road runners and we made sure we took our fair share of gongs with
Kate Daniels winning the V40 ladies and Ros Hall & John Rowland posting a speedy 2nd placing in their respective Ladies’ and men’s V60 category.
Well done to all our runners, it was a warm one!!
