We welcome new members at Eynsham Roadrunners. If you think you would like to join our club, we recommend that you come along to one of our Wednesday evening sessions (6.30pm at Eynsham pavilion). This is our main club run of the week, where you will meet most of us. It would be a good idea to contact us before coming along, so that we can introduce you to everyone and make you feel welcome.

John Wilcox is the contact point for new members, although Graham, Derek and Hugh will assist if John is not available. The membership form is here.

Running Standards

At Eynsham Roadrunners, we have the whole spectrum of running abilities. We recommend that in order to participate fully in our club runs, you should be able to jog continuously for at least 20-30 minutes. However if you are completely new to running then you can join a beginners group, headed by one of our five Run in England leaders. Have a look at our beginners page for more details.

Joining the Club

Once you are sure that you would like to become a member of Eynsham Roadrunners, you can fill in a membership form obtainable from the club folder on a Wednesday night or print one out from here. Whilst we encourage new members to come and try the club out before joining you need to submit an application form after a few trial visits.  John is the contact point for new members. As a member, you will be able to take part in all our events, both running related and social! Non members will pay a small charge, which will reflect the event cost and club subsidy.

As we are affiliated to England Athletics, we are subject to their data protection declaration, a copy of which is here.

New members

As mentioned above John is the contact point for new members.  Please give her, or any of the committee officers in her absence, your membership application form and PARQ form with your payment (or evidence of your online payment) and your application will be raised at the next committee meeting, normally the first Monday of the month.

Our policy in this area is under review and a revised version will be available here shortly.
